The new Sunbreak DLC has arrived
The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak DLC is finally here! Capcom has shared the official patch notes for this new version of Monster Hunter Rise.
This sees the software jump to Version 10.0.2. It will be required to install in order to access the DLC and continue to play online. The file size for this update is about 10.1GB on the Nintendo Switch.
Patch Version 10.0.2 will include content that requires the purchase of Sunbreak in order to access as well as content that only requires you to install the patch in order to access.
"Every addition or update that requires the purchase of the Sunbreak expansion will be indicated in the list below."

Yes! Finally we have Talisman locking! I don't have to worry about losing my good talismans anymore! ^^
Do we know what time the dlc will be playable?
Nice to see some of the changes already implemented in base Rise, like the palamute coming up underneath you when called, etc. However, when did they take the blast off of the Defender weapons??? That's what made them deadly useful, but it looks like none of them that I checked a bit ago had blast element still on them? Anyone know what time Sunbreak is supposed to go live???
Kind of annoying that they’ve baked the DLC into the original game file size and locked it behind a paywall. I don’t want this taking up 10GB of space when I won’t ever be purchasing Sunbreak.
