A case has been registered against the father of a six-year-old boy for participating in mud racing training with adults. Palakkad Town South police has registered a case against Shanavas Abdullah, a native of Kattoor, Thrissur. Scenes of a six-year-old boy dangerously jumping on his baby bike along with adults went viral on social media.
The father and relatives said the boy was training on a toy bike. However, the police said that the case was registered for training the child in a dangerous manner while the adults were training on the high speed bikes.
The training was held ahead of the mud racing competition to be held in Kattangode on April 16 and 17. Police said that a case will be registered against the organizer, Indira Priyadarshini Motor Sports Club, Kattangode. According to the police, the event was organized by the organizers without prior permission. With this, next week's mud racing competition became uncertain.
